This is my first post after a couple of years absent from this blog. I became eager to find out about answered prayers. You can find many testament from people about their answered prayer. But what about those that think, "why should I pray if my prayer is never answered".
In God's Word, He commands us to pray continually (1 Thess 5:17). And in Luke 11:9 Jesus said that if we ask, we should received. Yet how often has silence seemed to be the answer to our prayer requests? But if we want God to respond, we must meet three important conditions.
First, we must have a relationship with Jesus Christ by trusting Him as Savior.
- Jesus said in John14:6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
- Jesus Christ said in John 14:13 - "Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
- Scriptures reminds us to ask according to God's will and not yours (1 John 5:14). That means we can share our hopes and desires while submitting to whatever He deems best. Over time, certain yearnings may lose appeal or give us a check in our spirit.
- When making requests with God's will, we can be sure He'll answer. Our Heavenly Father tells His children to pray and assures that He will respond.
Received Jesus Christ as your Savior in a prayer. And I will pray that those who read this post who uses these keys to an answer prayer will have their prayers answered in accordance to God's will through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
